Detachable Foldable Electric Stair Climbing Wheelchair – HST-QL1
The HST-QL1 Electric Stair Climbing Wheelchair is a caregiver-assisted mobility solution designed to make transportation up and down compatible staircases easier and more manageable.
Featuring a 120W powered stair-climbing system, 24V 12Ah battery, 6061 aluminum-alloy frame, adjustable climbing speeds, and foldable design, this wheelchair combines everyday mobility with powered stair assistance.
Its split and foldable construction makes the chair particularly useful for homes, healthcare facilities, rehabilitation environments, assisted-living facilities, and other locations where stairs can create a significant accessibility barrier.
Key Features
Powered Stair-Climbing Assistance
The HST-QL1 incorporates an electric stair-climbing mechanism designed to assist a caregiver when transporting a seated passenger up or down compatible stairs.
The powered system reduces the amount of manual lifting required while allowing the caregiver to guide and control the wheelchair throughout the stair-climbing process.
120W Powered Climbing Motor
The HST-QL1 specification sheet lists a 120W brushed motor for the stair-climbing system.
This motor powers the climbing mechanism while the caregiver maintains control of the wheelchair from the rear operating position.
24V 12Ah Battery
The stair-climbing system is powered by a:
24V / 12Ah rechargeable battery
This provides cordless operation for stair transportation without requiring the chair to remain connected to an external power source.
Manufacturer-Rated Stair Range
According to the supplier, a full charge provides stair-climbing capacity equivalent to approximately 80 floors under the manufacturer's test conditions.
Actual performance can vary depending on passenger weight, stair dimensions, climbing speed, battery condition, temperature, and operating conditions.
Three Adjustable Stair-Climbing Speeds
The stair-climbing speed can be adjusted between:
Low • Medium • High
This allows the caregiver to select an appropriate operating speed based on the staircase, passenger, and surrounding environment.
100 kg / 220 lb Load Capacity
The HST-QL1 specification sheet lists a maximum carrying capacity of:
100 kg / approximately 220 lbs
The total passenger load should remain within this limit during operation.
6061 Aluminum-Alloy Frame
The wheelchair uses a 6061 aluminum-alloy frame, providing a combination of structural strength and reduced weight compared with many conventional steel-frame mobility devices.
30.5 kg / 67.2 lb Product Weight
The HST-QL1 has a manufacturer-listed vehicle weight of approximately:
30.5 kg / 67.2 lbs
This is especially relevant for customers who plan to transport or store the wheelchair regularly.
Split & Foldable Design
The wheelchair is designed with a split/detachable and folding configuration, making the system easier to manage when stair-climbing capability is not required.
The modular construction can simplify storage and transportation compared with a permanently fixed stair-climbing assembly.
Overall Dimensions
Manufacturer-listed body size:
99 × 60 × 105 cm
Approximately 39.0 × 23.6 × 41.3 inches
Customers should verify doorway, hallway, staircase, and vehicle-storage dimensions before purchasing.
Crawler-Track Stair System
The rear crawler-track mechanism provides an extended contact surface across multiple stair edges during stair operation.
This design helps the powered climbing system maintain controlled contact with compatible stairs while the caregiver guides the chair.
PU Wheel System
The HST-QL1 specification sheet indicates:
Front wheels: 6-inch PU wheels
Rear wheels: 12-inch PU wheels
PU wheels are designed to provide durable, low-maintenance mobility across suitable indoor surfaces.
Caregiver-Controlled Operation
The extended rear handles provide a dedicated operating position for the caregiver while the chair is being used on stairs.
This product should be considered a caregiver-assisted stair-climbing wheelchair, rather than an independently operated stair-climbing power wheelchair.
Suitable Applications
The HST-QL1 may be suitable for private homes, multi-story residences, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing and assisted-living facilities, patient transportation, healthcare environments, and other appropriate locations where conventional wheelchair access is restricted by stairs.

Important Note About the Other Supplier Specifications
The other screenshots also list specifications such as 150 kg load capacity, 39 kg vehicle weight, 0–10 km/h speed, 10–30 km range, brushless motors, and 5–15° climbing ability.
However, the seller also lists numerous configurations—such as split crawler, folding + flat-ground electric, crawler 13A + flat-ground electric, different colored split versions, and an ultra-light aluminum wheelchair.
Because of this, I would not add those numbers to the HST-QL1 product page unless the supplier confirms they apply specifically to this exact variant. Otherwise, your Doctor-Talk listing could accidentally combine specifications from two different wheelchairs.
Important Safety & Stair Compatibility Information
Before purchasing, customers should verify staircase width, tread depth, riser height, staircase angle, landing dimensions, turning clearance, passenger weight, and available caregiver operating space.
The passenger should be properly positioned and secured before stair operation. All folding, detachable, and climbing components should be fully locked into their operating positions before use.
Do not exceed the manufacturer's specified 100 kg / 220 lb carrying capacity for the HST-QL1.
Operators should read the manufacturer's complete operating instructions and receive appropriate training before transporting a passenger on stairs.
